At Gavel Club of Broadway Education, we believe that effective communication and strong leadership skills are essential for success in today’s world. Our club provides a supportive and engaging environment where young people can develop these skills while having fun!
What is Gavel Club?
Gavel Clubs are designed for youth aged [14-18] who wish to improve their public speaking abilities, boost their confidence, and cultivate leadership skills. Inspired by the Toastmasters program, we focus on building skills through practical experience, peer feedback, and educational resources.

Club Activities
- Weekly Meetings: Join us every 1st And 3rd Saturday - 4:00PM to 5:30PM at Broadway Education Matthumagala , Wlisara. Each meeting includes:
- Prepared speeches
- Table Topics (impromptu speaking)
- Evaluations
- Networking opportunities
2. Workshops and Special Events: Participate in workshops on various topics, including speechwriting, body language, and more. Attend special events and competitions to showcase your skills.
3. Mentorship Program: Pair up with experienced members for personalized guidance and support.
4. Community Involvement: Engage in community service projects to practice your leadership skills and give back to the community.
